Overrated? Perhaps. Fun? Undoubtedly. Good for your bachelorette party? Definitely. We tried this based on reviews, and found our own to be mixed. The ambiance is great. Fun people, lots of parties, excellent decor and vibe. The food is just so-so. While it tries very hard, it falls a little flat or underwhelming. The Beast Loaf was way over-flavored so much so that it tasted like it came from a box. Almost like school lunch Salisbury steak. The Salmon was better, but nothing special. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. The guy next to me got the Fried Chicken and I was more than a little jealous. The Ravioli looked good too. Live and learn. I did like the hummus and chips brought to the table instead of regular bread and butter. Service was excellent in every way. Decor is perfect. And hey, you can always read The Art Of War if you are so inclined.

We went straight here after landing during dinner on a weekday. As the Tropical storm Derby just passed the area, most places were closed. They had a skeleton crew. There was barely anyone inside so we were seated immediately. The servers were attentive and professional. As it is a converted church, the tall windows and stainless bar area was nice. It has a darker ambience. The menu did not have much as pictured on Yelp. We got the ravioli which was doughy but still tasty. I wanted to try the fried chicken but it was $30. The gelato was actually really chocolate and rich and reasonably priced. I would come here for the ambience but just know that is is on the pricey side.

We had an awesome time sitting at the bar at a Church and Union. They have a packed business- I'd recommend making a reservation far in advance. We showed up for our reservation and had to wait a bit so we ended up just eating at the bar instead. The bar is lively and has a great energy to it. The building is absolutely beautiful. The winners of the night were the cocktails, the fried chicken, and the brussel sprouts extra crispy. Highly highly recommend!!

This place was good, service was good and the interior definitely neat. Unfortunately, the food in my opinion is very overpriced and instead of Leaving here feeling good about what I ate which was really good, I left thinking about my $22 burger and the $19 meatballs, $20 drinks. We spent $200+ for lunch here, food was good but we left a bit perplexed about the total cost. I would only recommend this place if you have really deep pockets.
